Winchester Model 1300 Defender 12 Gauge Pump-Action, 18.5 in Barrel, 7+1 Capacity, Cylinder Bore, New Haven Rollmark
The Winchester Model 1300 Defender is a purpose-built 12 gauge pump that pairs an 18.5 in cylinder-bore barrel with a full-length 7+1 magazine and Winchester's inertia-assisted Speed Pump system. This USRAC-era example carries New Haven, Connecticut rollmarks, features hardwood furniture, and uses an aluminum-alloy receiver to keep weight down. It is chambered for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells, and the left side of the receiver bears a hand-scribed owner inscription.

What's Included
- Winchester Model 1300 Defender 12 gauge pump-action shotgun
The Model 1300's rotary bolt and inertia-assisted Speed Pump unlocking deliver very fast cycling while maintaining reliable operation. A right-side ejection port supports smooth extraction and ejection.
The 18.5 in steel barrel uses a cylinder bore for wide patterning. A full-length tubular magazine provides 7+1 capacity, with the magazine tube sitting flush with the muzzle and capped by a domed, knurled end. A single barrel/magazine clamp near the muzzle adds rigidity.
Construction combines an aluminum-alloy receiver with hardwood furniture. The ribbed corncob-style fore-end offers a positive grip, and the stock wears a black ventilated recoil pad with the Winchester logo. Length of pull is 14.0 in. Sights are simple and fast: a brass bead front and no rear.
Chambering accommodates both 2 3/4 in and 3 in 12 gauge shells. Barrel rollmarks read: WINCHESTER MODEL 1300 DEFENDER 12 GA. 2¾ & 3", MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A., WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL. Defender barrels and field barrels do not interchange within the Model 1300 family.
Model 1300 production ended in 2006.
