This A. Uberti 1861 Navy is a .36 caliber cap-and-ball reproduction with classic Colt-style features and high-quality Italian fit and finish. It pairs a 7.5 inch round-profile steel barrel with a color case-hardened open-top frame and blued cylinder. The cylinder carries the factory roll-engraved Texas Navy Battle of Campeche scene. It bears Italian Gardone proof marks, the "PN" black-powder proof, and clear maker and caliber markings on the barrel.
Matching serial numbers are present on the barrel lug and trigger guard.

The revolver follows the open-top Colt-style pattern with a transverse wedge and a creeping-style loading lever for secure cylinder charging. The barrel features an integral loading lever catch, and the fixed-sight system consists of a small-blade front sight paired with a hammer-notch rear.
Construction is all steel, with a color case-hardened frame and blued barrel and cylinder. The one-piece smooth varnished hardwood grip completes the period-correct configuration and ergonomics.
The cylinder is factory roll-engraved with a naval battle scene depicting the Texas Navy Battle of Campeche and is stamped "PATENT No." Capacity is six rounds of .36 caliber black powder.
Markings include Italian Gardone proof marks and the "PN" in box black-powder proof. The barrel is marked "CAL. 36 BLACK POWDER ONLY – A. UBERTI ITALY." Matching serial numbers appear on the barrel lug and trigger guard. Origin is Italy, and the revolver is a faithful reproduction built for traditional cap-and-ball shooting.
