Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Light handling wear is present, including some loss of the coarse grip material at the front of the handguard from repeated handling. The MPX Carbine uses a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system with a closed rotating bolt, purpose-built for reliable operation with 9mm Luger. Its 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a protector, offering straightforward muzzle-device compatibility.
A monolithic upper with a full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail runs the length of the receiver and handguard, providing broad mounting real estate. The extended free-float tubular handguard features chevron and slot venting with a coarse textured coating for grip and heat dissipation.
Ergonomics and controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch. A Hogue OverMolded finger-groove pistol grip enhances purchase, while the Taran Tactical Innovations flared magwell supports faster, more consistent reloads.
The installed Magpul MVG vertical foregrip provides a solid forward index, and the included Streamlight TLR-8 A G adds an integrated white light and green laser for low-light aiming capability. The carbine’s telescoping polymer stock sets the length of pull at approximately 12.5 inches.
Construction details include an aluminum receiver with a hard-coat anodized finish and a distinctive gold/TiN-colored bolt/BCG. Receiver markings include "SIG MPX MULTI-CAL." on the left side.
