The Commander-length 4.25 inch barrel keeps the classic 1911 balance while maintaining a compact footprint. Capacity is 7+1 with the included flush-fit, single-stack magazines.
Construction is forged steel for both the slide and frame, finished in matte dark gray. The slide has rear vertical serrations and no front serrations. A standard GI barrel bushing with a short recoil spring plug maintains traditional 1911 service geometry.
The Series 70, single-action-only system pairs a short, solid trigger with a rowel hammer. Safeties include a thumb safety and grip safety. An arched mainspring housing and textured composite grip panels with green/gray layering provide a secure, familiar hold.
Sights are fixed GI-pattern: a serrated, ramped front blade and a serrated square-notch rear. The slide is marked "1911 A1 TANK COMMANDER." Import and proof markings include "TISAS KNOXVILLE TN" and "ZIG M45 TURKIYE." Country of origin is Türkiye.
