This full-size Government Model is chambered in .45 ACP with a stated capacity of 7+1 and runs a GI-style recoil system with a checkered plug. It operates single-action only with both a thumb safety and grip safety.
The slide is equipped with rear cocking serrations, a serrated top, and a lowered and flared ejection port. Sights include a plain blade front dovetailed into the slide and a Les Baer–marked adjustable rear sight for precise elevation and windage control.
The 5 in match-grade, bushing-fit, non-threaded barrel is marked "BAER 45 MATCH" and is paired with a fitted bushing for accuracy-focused lockup. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger complete the fire-control setup.
The steel frame features a checkered front strap, a flat checkered mainspring housing, and a beveled magazine well for smoother reloads. The dark matte finish with brushed flats is carried across both slide and frame. Aftermarket textured black/gray G10 grips with diagonal and golf-ball surfacing, marked "SI Custom," provide a secure hold. Made in the USA.
