The barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A." along with patent numbers 2,645,873; 2,675,638; and 2,719,375, plus "OTHERS PENDING." The barrel is also marked "12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS," and the choke is marked "FULL."
Externally, this example stands out with decorative scroll engraving on the receiver and a traditional blued-and-wood configuration. The stock is wood with a gloss finish and checkering, paired with a matching wood fore-end. It also has a black Remington-marked buttplate and an oval inlaid/plug-like feature on the underside of the buttstock.
