The CETME LC design is driven by a roller-delayed blowback action and a fluted chamber, giving it the distinctive handling and ejection pattern associated with the lineage. MarColMar builds this semi-automatic variant with a new U.S.-made receiver and barrel, while using surplus CETME L/LC components for authenticity. The stamped/formed steel receiver features weld seams and a durable green Cerakote finish, with manufacturer crest and Richmond, IN markings plus S and F selector marks.
The 16.1 in cold hammer forged, nitrided barrel is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a multi-prong flash hider. A 1:7 twist supports a wide range of 5.56mm NATO projectile lengths. The barrel and chamber treatment are chosen for longevity and ease of maintenance.
Ergonomics include a metal twin-rod telescoping stock and an OD-green ribbed polymer handguard made from Nylon 66. The left-side, non-reciprocating charging handle uses a folding knob for compact stowage. A manual safety is present. Overall length is about 37.5 inches (approximately 26.2 inches collapsed), with a 14.0 in length of pull and a weight of about 7.5 lb.
Sighting is via protected iron sights: a front post and a rear aperture with an adjustment drum. An integral 1913 Picatinny rail section on the receiver provides mounting flexibility. The rifle accepts STANAG AR-15/M16 magazines and has a 30+1 capacity.
