Loewe Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895 Receiver & Barrel Parts Kit — Chilean Contract, Pre-DWM, B-Prefix Matching
This antique, parts-only assembly consists of a Chilean Contract Mauser Modelo 1895 small-ring receiver and stepped barrel manufactured by Ludwig Loewe in Berlin circa 1895–1896. It retains the left sidewall rollmark and shows B-prefix matching between the receiver and barrel shank. Iron sight bases are present, and the blued steel construction reflects early, pre-DWM production.

What’s Included
- Loewe Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895 small-ring receiver (B-prefix)
- Stepped steel barrel
- Front sight base (blade missing)
- Rear sight base (ladder/leaf missing)
This is a parts-only Loewe-produced Chilean Contract Modelo 1895 assembly, built during the 1895–1896 timeframe before the formation of DWM. The left receiver sidewall carries the original rollmark: "MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895 – MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN."
The receiver is the small-ring Mauser pattern with a stripper-clip guide, paired with a military-profile stepped steel barrel. The barrel shows the correct handguard and barrel band seat cuts, and both front and rear sight bases remain in place.
As a parts kit, several components are not present, including the bolt, stock, handguard, magazine/trigger guard, and the sight blade and rear ladder/leaf. What is included is well suited for restoration work, spares, or reference purposes.
Collector interest is supported by the B-prefix matching on the receiver and barrel shank, German manufacture by Ludwig Loewe, and its status as an antique, full-size Mauser platform from the 1890s with blued steel construction.
