    What's Included

    • A. Uberti 1871-72 Open Top Navy .45 Colt revolver

The open-top frame without a topstrap mirrors the original 1871-72 design. The 5.5 in round barrel is retained by a transverse wedge with a visible wedge screw, and the rear sight is a notch cut into the rear of the barrel. A right-side ejector rod with an external leaf spring and circular head completes the classic layout. This model operates single-action-only.

Finish and materials are period-correct and well executed: a color case-hardened frame and hammer match with a blued barrel, ejector housing, and non-fluted cylinder. The trigger guard and backstrap are blued steel. Smooth, varnished walnut grips in the Navy profile provide the proper grip shape and feel for this pattern.

The six-shot cylinder is roll-engraved with the naval battle scene and marked with the Ormsby credit. The frame carries patent date stamps reading "PAT. JULY 25, 1871" and "PAT. JULY 2, 1872," reinforcing the historical specification of this reproduction.

Markings include Stoeger Accokeek, MD importer information and "A. UBERTI - ITALY" on the barrel, along with Italian proof marks such as PSF and Gardone. Chambered in .45 Colt with a full-size profile and fixed sights, this revolver delivers the classic Open Top Navy format with authentic details throughout.
