What’s Included
- Kimber Ultra Ten II .45 ACP pistol
- 1x 10-round detachable double-stack steel magazine marked .45 ACP with extended baseplate (for Kimber polymer-frame 1911s)
This Ultra-size configuration uses a 3-inch bushingless bull barrel paired with a full-length guide rod. The slide is stainless with a matte silver finish and features rear cocking serrations plus a lowered and flared ejection port.
The polymer wide-body frame provides 10+1 capacity in a compact footprint, with lineage tied to the BUL M-5 design. Factory literature lists the empty weight at approximately 24 oz, underscoring its subcompact build for the era.
Controls and safety features include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and the Series II Swartz-type firing-pin block actuated by the grip safety. It also wears a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized aluminum three-hole trigger.
Sighting is straightforward and durable with fixed 3-dot sights: a dovetailed front dot and a dovetailed 2-dot rear. The overall package reflects one of the few production subcompact double-stack .45 ACP 1911s of its time.
Given the noted frame damage and as-is sale status, this is a good parts gun/gunsmith special.
