The Romulus uses a compact, wide-body double-stack 1911 architecture with an integral flared magwell and aggressive-texture grip module featuring AF hex-logo panels. The frame and slide are SUS416 stainless steel with a DLC black finish for a uniform, low-glare appearance. Markings include ROMULUS and AF1911 ROMULUS on the slide and ALPHA FOXTROT DULUTH, GA on the frame.
Its 3.5 in bushingless bull barrel is ramped, ported, and paired with a full-length guide rod. The slide adds two rectangular top ports, longitudinal top serrations, and front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The barrel hood is marked 9x19.
For sights and optics, it wears a Night Fision tritium green front sight and a plain rear notch integrated with the MOS plate. The MOS-adapter optic cut supports RMSc and RMR footprints, and this example includes an uninstalled RMR plate.
Controls and handling features include an ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, skeletonized trigger, and skeletonized commander-style hammer. A full-length dustcover with a 1913 Picatinny rail (five usable slots observed) provides mounting space for lights or accessories. Overall length is 6 7/8 in (factory spec), and capacity is 20+1 in 9mm Luger.
