Built in the USA, it features the SIG Custom Shop dehorning treatment, a stainless steel Nitron-finished slide, and a non-railed hard-coat anodized alloy frame. It includes SIGLITE night sights, an external extractor, a DA/SA action with decocker, and the Short Reset Trigger. The original factory hard case is included and is broken.

This P229 Carry configuration combines a compact 3.5 in slide and barrel with a full-size P229 grip for a balanced carry profile. It is the SAS Gen 2 Custom Shop variant, dehorned and melted to reduce snag points while maintaining the classic P229 ergonomics and control layout.
The stainless steel slide wears a Nitron finish and uses an external extractor. The non-railed aluminum alloy frame is hard-coat anodized. Controls include a spurred hammer, a decocker, and Sig Sauer's Short Reset Trigger in a DA/SA action.
Sighting equipment consists of SIGLITE 3-dot night sights, with the front blade marked 8 and an approximate 5.3 in sight radius. Two-piece black checkered SIG SAUER grip panels provide a secure hold. Capacity is 12+1 in .40 S&W using the included 12-round magazines marked 'MADE IN ITALY'.
