It uses a Series-70-style firing system without a firing-pin safety, consistent with traditional 1911 mechanics. The frame is marked "SPRINGFIELD INC GENESEO IL USA," and the factory SKU PX9115L is confirmed on the case label.
The slide wears a matte black Armory Kote finish with rear cocking serrations and no front serrations. A stainless steel 4-inch barrel is visible at the ejection port and muzzle. The frame is aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish, providing a durable, lightweight foundation.
Sighting is handled by fixed 3-dot tritium night sights, with a Trijicon tritium front sight marked H3 16 and a Trijicon rear. An integral 1913-style three-slot accessory rail on the dust cover supports compatible weapon lights or accessories.
Controls include a checkered magazine release, a manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and a half-cock notch.
