The Standard configuration pairs blued steel with a walnut stock for a traditional look and feel. The 22 in alloy-steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and left with an unthreaded muzzle. There are no iron sights, keeping the profile clean for scoped use.
Ruger’s controlled-round-feed action uses a full-length claw extractor and a fixed-blade ejector for positive feeding and ejection. The bolt body is bright in-the-white with a turned-down round-knob handle. The three-position safety and LC6 trigger provide familiar M77 Hawkeye controls.
The walnut stock has cut checkering, a straight comb, and a red recoil pad. Sling swivel studs are installed. Length of pull measures 13.5 in.
An internal box magazine holds 4 rounds and is paired with a hinged steel floorplate featuring the Ruger logo. The steel receiver is blued and machined with Ruger integral scope-mount bases, and the rifle includes Ruger integral rings for straightforward scope installation.
