The FNX-45 Tactical is a recoil-operated, DA/SA, hammer-fired pistol built for capacity, control, and adaptability. It is fully ambidextrous, with mirrored controls for the safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release. The polymer frame houses replaceable slide rails and wears aggressive square texturing with FN oval medallions for a secure, repeatable grip.
Its 5.3 in cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel is threaded .578x28 RH and finished with a recessed crown and thread protector. Suppressor-height 3-dot night sights provide a clear aiming reference with or without the mounted optic.
The slide is finished in black with front and rear serrations and a factory optic cut. A mounting plate is installed, and the Trijicon SRO red dot is mounted to the slide via the optics plate for a ready-to-use sighting system.
Capacity is 15+1 in .45 ACP, and the dustcover features a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights or lasers. The design lineage traces to the USSOCOM Joint Combat Pistol program, and this example is made in the USA.
