The MAC 5 combines the MP5-pattern roller-delayed, closed-bolt system with modern components and a registered SBR configuration. The receiver is stamped steel with an HK-style cocking tube and charging handle, and it features a maker's engraving on the right side, identifying the SBR registration.
The 8.9 inch barrel offers versatility with dual interfaces: an HK 3-lug for compatible devices and 1/2x28 threads with a thread protector. A 3-lug push-on flash hider is included but not installed, giving the buyer ready options for muzzle setup.
Iron sights include a hooded front post and an adjustable diopter rear drum. An MFI HK claw Picatinny top rail is installed, providing a solid mounting surface for Picatinny-compatible optics or accessories while retaining the traditional sighting system.
Controls and furniture mirror the familiar HK layout: SEF-marked selector housing with a manual safety, both paddle-style and button magazine releases, and a polymer forearm with diamond texturing. Sling options are built in with a front sling ring and QD sockets in the Magpul SL collapsible stock. Capacity is 30+1, and two 30-round magazines are included.
