The C2 uses Staccato's 2011 modular frame architecture with a removable polymer grip module and a 7075 aluminum alloy frame that is hard-anodized. Capacity is 16+1 in 9mm, and the compact size strikes an effective balance for carry and range use.
The 3.9 in bull barrel is non-threaded and paired with Staccato's dual-spring RecoilMaster compact recoil system for smooth cycling. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a durable DLC finish.
This Optic Ready DPO configuration includes the factory optic interface with a mounting plate installed, marked "CH" and "STI DPO R1." Iron sights are present: a green fiber-optic front and a plain black rear that is integrated into the optic-mounting plate.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a left-side magazine release. A dustcover accessory rail (Picatinny-style) is machined into the frame. The skeletonized three-hole trigger breaks at approximately 4 lb, and the pistol uses a skeletonized loop hammer.
Markings include "STACCATO Cv3," "FLORENCE, TX USA," and "20★11" on the dustcover. A small U.S. flag engraving appears on the right side of the frame forward of the trigger guard. The pistol is made in the USA in Florence, Texas.
