Made in Rogów, Poland by Wytwórnia Broni Popiński (WBP), this Jack 762SR follows the AKM pattern with a stamped, riveted receiver and a durable black finish. The receiver is marked on the right side with the 2022 year stamp and caliber 7.62x39, and it bears the Arms of America LLC, Rockwall TX, importer mark along with the WBP maker roll mark.
The rifle wears laminated-wood handguards with a palm-swell lower and a fixed laminated-wood stock, paired with a reddish-brown bakelite-style checkered AKM pistol grip. Sighting is via protected front post and tangent rear. The left side of the receiver is smooth without a side optics rail, matching this configuration’s clean profile.
Its operating system is the proven semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt. Up front, it retains the classic AKM slant compensator secured by a detent on the threaded barrel, and the bayonet lug is present. A 90° gas block, smooth top cover, and sling points under the gas block and at the buttstock swivel round out the pattern-correct hardware.
Dimensions are practical and familiar: a 16.25-inch barrel, 35.5-inch overall length, approximately 6.6 pounds weight, and a 12.5-inch length of pull. The factory-engraved Polish eagle crest on the left side of the rear sight block adds a distinctive national touch, and the matching serial is documented on the receiver and included factory paperwork. The magazine set is corrected and complete with 2x 10-round and 2x 30-round units, including the CompMag with its installation hardware.
