The 16 inch barrel is 4140 steel, nitrided for surface hardness and corrosion resistance, and threaded 1/2x28. A VG6 CAGE device is installed on the muzzle. The rifle also includes installed Magpul MBUS flip-up sights and an angled foregrip for immediate usability.
