The A-70 is a compact, single-action, locked-breech, recoil-operated 9mm designed around a single-stack magazine for an 8+1 capacity. Its 3.5-inch barrel and all-steel construction deliver a solid, durable build with a uniform matte dark finish. Black checkered synthetic grips with Astra medallions complete the classic profile.
Built in Guernica, Spain in the early 1990s, this example carries the E.A.A.-HALEAH-FL. import mark, reflecting European American Armory’s U.S. importation. The steel frame and slide share the same matte dark finish for a consistent appearance.
Sighting is straightforward and fast with a fixed three-dot system: a front blade with a single white dot and a dovetailed rear with two white dots. The slide uses rear-only diagonal cocking serrations with no front serrations, and the hammer is an external spur style.
Controls are practical and familiar, including a left-side magazine release and a manual thumb safety, backed by a firing pin block and a hammer safety. The frame has vertical front-strap serrations for added purchase. The dust cover is smooth and does not have an accessory rail.
