Developed and manufactured in the United States, the CC9 is the first HK pistol fully engineered and built domestically. The frame is marked "HKI Columbus, GA," underscoring its US origin. As HK's smallest handgun to date, it delivers micro-compact dimensions with a 12+1 maximum capacity.
The slide wears a black DLC finish with front and rear serrations and an optic cut with cover plate. The cut accepts RMSc/Holosun-K footprint micro red dots, while the factory sights pair an XS tritium front post with luminescent outline to a black square-notch rear for a clean, fast sight picture.
A cold hammer-forged 3.32 in. barrel with polygonal rifling and a striker-fired, Browning-type linkless action form the core of the system. HK validated the design with over 750,000 rounds during development. A removable fire-control chassis sits within the polymer grip module, and interchangeable backstraps allow quick fit adjustments.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including external slide stop levers on both sides and a push-button magazine release. An integral multi-slot accessory rail on the dustcover supports compact lights or similar accessories. At just 6.03 in. overall length, 0.99 in. width, and 18.4 oz unloaded (without magazine), the CC9 maintains a compact footprint without giving up practical capacity.
