The Super Blackhawk is chambered in .44 Rem Magnum and also accepts .44 Special ammunition. Its investment-cast alloy-steel construction with coil-spring internals is paired with a high-polish blued finish, while the hammer and trigger are left in the white for a distinctive contrast.
The 7.5 inch cold hammer-forged alloy-steel barrel and the unfluted six-shot cylinder reflect the model’s proven big-bore configuration. Ruger’s base-pin latch provides secure cylinder retention under recoil and hard use.
Sight regulation is handled by adjustable iron sights, with a ramp front and a fully adjustable rear. The Dragoon-style square-back trigger guard and grip frame are hallmark Super Blackhawk features.
The New Model action employs Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system and a loading-gate interlock. Operation is single-action, with smooth hardwood grip panels set off by Ruger silver-eagle medallions. Made in the United States.
