This Rock Island Armory M1911 A2 Tac Ultra FS HC (Threaded) is a full-size, double-stack 10mm built on a steel frame with a matte black finish. It features a 5.5-inch bushingless bull barrel with a knurled thread protector, a full-length railed dustcover, and a flared magwell. The orange fiber-optic front sight and fully adjustable rear sight, along with ambidextrous controls, round out a feature-rich wide-body 1911.

The A2 wide-body frame increases capacity to 16+1 in 10mm and includes a flared magazine well for efficient reloads. The steel, full-length railed dustcover provides a solid mounting surface for accessories and adds front-end stability.
The 5.5-inch bushingless bull barrel is threaded and capped with a knurled thread protector. A full-length guide rod supports smooth cycling. The slide carries front and rear serrations for confident manipulation and wears a matte black finish to match the steel frame.
Sights are set up for fast acquisition and fine tuning, with an orange fiber-optic front sight dovetailed into the slide and a fully adjustable rear sight. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad for consistent engagement.
The trigger is skeletonized for a crisp single-action press, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer. Textured composite grip panels provide a secure hold. The pistol bears the Rock Island Armory crest rollmark and APINTL–Pahrump NV and ACP PHILIPPINES import markings.
Four steel double-stack magazines are included; the bodies are marked ".40 S&W Made in Italy" as noted. Factory labeling on the case identifies the threaded configuration with model code 56862. Country of origin is the Philippines.
