What’s Included
- Marlin Model 336C .30-30 lever-action rifle
- Receiver-top Picatinny-style rail (installed)
Built in the 2011–2020 Ilion/Remington period, this rifle is marked with the oval REP proof on the right side of the barrel and is associated with the MR-prefix serial range for this era. It is made in the United States and maintains the Model 336C’s steel, blued finish construction.
The 20.0-inch steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling and is paired with a full-length tubular magazine for a 6-round capacity in .30-30. A single front barrel band with an integral sling swivel complements the classic carbine layout.
The solid-top, side-eject receiver with a right-side loading gate supports convenient loading and ejection. A cross-bolt safety and a gold-colored trigger round out the receiver and control features. A receiver-top Picatinny-style rail is installed and bridges forward over the barrel.
Sights include a ramp front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear; the front sight hood is not present. The walnut pistol-grip buttstock and matching forend feature diamond-pattern checkering, a black grip cap, sling swivel studs, and the Marlin bullseye inlay. A brown rubber buttpad with the Marlin horse-and-rider logo caps the stock, with a length of pull measuring 13.75 inches.
