Made in West Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in Eckernförde, this P220 carries the correct "MADE IN W.GERMANY" slide legend along with German proof and test marks. The slide and frame bear matching serial numbers, adding cohesion and authenticity to this example.
This pre-rail configuration embodies the original P220 profile with a clean dust cover and a stamped/folded slide using a roll-pin-retained breech block. It is chambered in .45 ACP with a single-stack grip profile and a maximum capacity of 8+1.
The operating system is SIG’s short-recoil, linkless design. Controls include a smooth, curved trigger and a frame-mounted decocker supporting DA/SA operation, paired with a spurred, serrated hammer and a rounded trigger guard.
The forged aluminum alloy frame is hard-anodized, and the slide wears a Nitron finish. Sighting is handled by fixed contrast sights: a single white dot front and a vertical white bar rear. The chamber hood is correctly marked ".45 Auto."
