The Century Arms BFT47 Pistol is a US-made AK-pattern pistol introduced in 2022 and built around a 1.5 mm stamped steel receiver with a bulged, forged 4140 front trunnion. It pairs a 12.5 in threaded barrel with classic American maple wood handguards and enhanced controls, and includes a left-side AK optics side rail for mounting compatible optics.

The receiver uses 1.5 mm stamped steel and a bulged, forged 4140 front trunnion (BFT) for robust AK-pattern construction. Markings indicate Century Arms Georgia, VT and the model BFT47 Pistol.
The long-stroke gas system features a vented gas tube and a 90-degree gas block. The 12.5 in barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash hider, and the top cover is smooth.
Sight equipment includes an adjustable tangent rear sight and a protected post front sight. A left-side AK optics side rail provides a mounting interface for compatible side-rail optics.
Controls are updated with an extended T-shaped magazine catch and a safety/selector that incorporates a bolt hold-open notch. The pistol wears American maple upper and lower handguards, with the lower featuring a palm swell and cooling slots, and it uses checkered black polymer grips.
Chambered in 7.62x39 with a 30+1 capacity, the pistol measures 22.5 in overall and weighs 6.95 lb. The finish is matte black, and the firearm is made in the USA.
