Romanian-made by Romarm/Cugir and imported by Century Arms, this WASR-10 Paratrooper combines a compact left-side folding wire stock with a 16.25 inch threaded barrel and AKM-pattern reliability. It features a stamped, non-dimpled receiver with ribbed top cover, a chrome-lined bore, and factory rollmarks that explicitly identify it as the Paratrooper variant.

Built on a stamped, non-dimpled AKM-pattern receiver, this Paratrooper variant stays true to Romanian military styling while offering a compact footprint. The receiver wears a ribbed top cover, standard paddle-style magazine release, and selector markings "S" and "F." It feeds from detachable double-stack AK-pattern magazines and is marked with importer/model rollmarks that include "Paratrooper."
The left-side Romanian "crutch"-style wire stock folds for storage and transport and includes a rear sling loop. Furniture consists of hardwood handguards paired with a checkered black polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is 13.0 inches, providing a familiar AK ergonomics profile.
The 16.25 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a birdcage-style flash hider. Sights are the classic protected front post and tangent rear sight leaf. The chrome-lined bore supports longevity and ease of maintenance, and the front sight block/gas block combination is properly aligned.
Operation is the proven semi-automatic, gas-operated, long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt. The manual safety lever includes a notch for a bolt hold-open. This rifle is made in Romania and carries clear import and model markings: "ROMARM/CUGIR – MADE IN ROMANIA" and "Century Arms, Georgia, VT – Paratrooper – 7.62x39mm." No cleaning rod is installed.
