The M9A3 FS is a full-size, DA/SA 9mm built on an aluminum-alloy frame finished in Flat Dark Earth, paired with a matching FDE slide marked "Made in USA." Its open-top slide design and dovetailed sights reflect the lineage of Beretta’s locking-block system, while the integrated 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 rail on the dust cover supports modern accessory mounting.
The 5.1-inch steel barrel is extended and threaded 1/2x28 with a thread protector, offering a suppressor-ready muzzle from the factory. A 1:10 twist supports a wide range of 9mm loads. The slide’s universal design allows conversion between FS (safety/decocker) and G (decocker-only) configurations if desired.
Factory tritium 3-dot night sights are installed, with a Trijicon-marked dovetailed front and a windage-adjustable tritium rear. Controls include ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker levers, an oversize checkered magazine release, and a skeletonized spurred hammer for positive manipulation.
Ergonomics center on the Vertec-profile straight backstrap with a beavertail and aggressive frontstrap and backstrap texturing. Thin textured polymer grip panels with Beretta medallions are installed, and additional tan grip panels are included to tailor the feel.
