The Legion-series P226-XFIVE uses a single-action-only system with an ambidextrous manual safety and a single-action hammer. Its AX3 flat trigger is adjustable for take-up, overtravel, and reset, allowing the user to fine-tune control within the SAO format.
The long slide incorporates two top expansion-chamber windows that work with the 4.4 in bull barrel. The barrel features a recessed crown, and the slide is optics-ready with a removable rear sight plate. Sights include a fully adjustable rear and a green-dot front, with the rear sight mounted on the optic cover plate.
The alloy frame is finished in Legion Gray and wears black TXG (tungsten‑infused) textured grip panels with a chevron motif. Ergonomic touches include a beavertail, front-strap checkering, an integral magazine well funnel, and an extended "sport" takedown lever shelf. A full-length M1913 Picatinny rail with five slots is machined into the dustcover.
