The Performance Center Competitor variant features a rigid aluminum-alloy frame in the M&P Metal pattern, delivering the metal-framed feel many shooters prefer. The slide incorporates lightening cuts on the top and sides, paired with the two-tone black slide over gray frame for a purposeful look.
An APEX aftermarket "Apex Grade" match barrel is installed. This non-threaded, 5-inch barrel complements the 9mm chambering and the full-size format for consistent performance.
Controls and ergonomics include an oversized magazine release, ambidextrous slide stop levers, and a flared magazine well. The interchangeable palmswell backstraps allow quick tailoring of grip size. A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover.
The striker-fired M2.0 fire control system here uses a flat-faced trigger with a safety tab and an enhanced sear, along with a trigger safety.
