Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is mild to moderate carbon buildup from prior firing. The trigger is light and crisp, measuring approximately 2.6 lb. The slide does not lock back on an empty magazine.

The Ares uses a Commander-length 4.25" configuration paired with a bushingless bull barrel and recessed crown, delivering a tight lockup and added muzzle mass. The slide is tri-topped and cut with front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a lightening window.
The frame includes a railed dust cover with a 5-slot Picatinny rail, an undercut trigger guard, and a metal grip with triangular "pyramid" texture and an integral flared magwell for fast, consistent reloads. Ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety provide familiar 1911-style control.
Sight picture is straightforward and precise: a red fiber-optic front sight pairs with an adjustable, serrated black rear. The flat-faced, lightened trigger is set to approximately 2.6 lb for a clean break. The factory test sheet notes a 9 lb recoil spring and a test-fire date of 03/31/2021.
