The 1910/22 is the extended-slide member of the FN 1910 family, configured here in .32 ACP with an approximately 4.5 in barrel and the characteristic knurled front bushing/cap. This example is Belgian-made and proofed at Liège, with matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel, and no German Waffenamt marks observed. The slide legend shows the traditional Browning patent and FN Herstal origin markings.
Its operating system is a simple blowback, striker-fired, single-action design, with the recoil spring concentric around the barrel. Safety features include a manual frame safety, a grip safety, and a magazine disconnect. The pistol feeds from a single-column magazine with a typical 9+1 capacity in .32 ACP.
Sighting equipment consists of a fixed blade front paired with a tall adjustable rear sight. The slide has vertical rear serrations and a round rear striker plug. Black checkered synthetic grips bearing the FN monogram provide a secure hold.
The pistol wears a blued finish over its steel frame and slide. Its compact profile for the class, combined with the longer slide and barrel, delivers the classic 1910/22 handling characteristics and period-correct features collectors look for in late-1970s FN production.
