What's Included
- A Uberti 1871–72 Open Top revolver chambered in .45 Colt
Built on the classic open-top frame without a top strap, this six-shot revolver captures the original design with a round, wedge-retained 4.75-inch barrel and a right-side ejector-rod housing. It is single-action-only with a spur hammer and a checkered thumb piece, and it uses fixed sights with a rear notch milled into the barrel and a front blade.
The frame is steel with a color case-hardened finish, paired with a blued steel barrel and cylinder. A brass grip frame and wood grips with a gloss finish complete the traditional configuration and visual appeal.
The unfluted cylinder is factory roll engraved with a naval battle scene. Period-style markings include the Two July 1871/1872 patent legend on the frame and a .45 COLT caliber stamp on the underside of the barrel.
Manufactured in Italy by A Uberti, this revolver is modern CIP proofed and bears Italian proof marks and a boxed two-letter Italian date code. It is imported by Taylor's & Co., Winchester, VA, with a clear barrel rollmark identifying the maker and importer.
