The XP-100 is a bolt-action, single-shot pistol configured for 7mm BR Remington, with a top-loading and ejection port positioned on the top of the receiver. It uses a right-side bolt handle with a recessed bolt face and a capacity of one round.
The 15.5 inch barrel has a tapered profile with a crowned muzzle and an under-barrel lug. A cylindrical counterweight is installed on the lug, and the barrel bears the stamp "EH 94."
Its one-piece, center-grip stock is made of synthetic DuPont Zytel in a marbled reddish-brown finish. The right-hand target-style grip incorporates molded finger grooves, checkering, and a flared palm shelf, with an integral trigger guard, a white diamond inlay, and a white line forend spacer.
Controls and sights are set up for precise operation, with a serrated trigger shoe and a safety/bolt-release lever inside the trigger guard. The pistol wears a Remington "R" marked adjustable rear notch sight and has no front sight.
