The slide and barrel are stainless steel with Smith & Wesson's Armornite treatment for durability and corrosion resistance. The slide wears a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish applied over Armornite, while the FDE frame is glass-reinforced polymer with an extended embedded stainless-steel chassis for added rigidity.
Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, with a left-side magazine release and a hinged, curved M2.0 trigger.
Targeting features include dovetailed 3-dot iron sights with a white dot front and two-dot rear. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and a 3-slot Picatinny-type accessory rail on the dustcover supports lights or lasers. Capacity is 17+1, and this pistol includes three factory 17-round magazines.
