Chambered in .45 ACP, this LC Carbine uses a reliable blowback-operated, semi-automatic action and is rated for SAAMI-spec +P 45 Auto ammunition. The design locates the magazine in the pistol grip and accepts Glock-pattern G21 magazines, offering 13+1 capacity with the included magazines.
The 16.25 inch alloy-steel barrel has a black-nitride finish and comes threaded 0.578-28 with a thread protector. A 1:16 RH twist supports a broad range of .45 ACP loads.
The side-folding, telescoping stock provides adjustable length of pull, and the polymer pistol grip features Ruger's molded texturing. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety and an integrated trigger safety, with Ruger's Secure Action fire-control system and an internal hammer. A left-side, reversible, non-reciprocating forward charging handle supports user preference.
Ruger's Rapid Deploy flip-up front and rear sights pair with a continuous MIL-STD-1913 top Picatinny rail for mounting options. The aluminum-alloy receiver wears a Type III hard-coat anodized finish, while the aluminum M-LOK handguard includes additional short accessory rail sections.
