This Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C Compact stands out with a factory-installed HEX Wasp 3.5 MOA red dot, the Echelon series Variable Interface System for direct optic mounting without plates, and a removable serialized stainless-steel Central Operating Group chassis. It is in excellent condition and includes two 15-round magazines, all in a black Melonite/nitride slide and black polymer frame configuration made in Croatia by HS Produkt.

The HEX Wasp 3.5 MOA red dot comes installed and features an always-on, auto-dimming design with a robust 6061-T6 aluminum housing, glass lens, and IPX7 waterproof rating. Its compact profile pairs cleanly with the Echelon’s direct-mount VIS footprint.
The 4-inch hammer-forged barrel is non-threaded with a crowned muzzle. The pistol uses a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech action and a trigger with a blade-style safety shoe. A trigger safety provides straightforward, passive protection.
The slide wears a black Melonite/nitride finish and aggressive machining: deep front and rear serrations, top serrations, and forward trench relief for confident manipulation. The U-Dot iron sights combine a bright green front dot with a black U-notch rear for a fast, uncluttered sight picture.
The black polymer frame offers an aggressive molded texture, interchangeable backstraps, a flared magazine well, and a 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover. The removable, serialized Central Operating Group is stainless steel, simplifying maintenance and modularity.
This 4.0C Compact variant carries 15+1 rounds of 9mm Luger and includes two 15-round magazines. It is marked Made in Croatia and manufactured by HS Produkt, aligning with the Echelon series’ modern feature set and build quality.
