Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Issued by the American Historical Foundation, this WWII Pacific Theater of Operations Commemorative Thompson is limited to 500 examples and bears an engraved receiver legend: "IN HONOR OF WORLD WAR II • 1941 ★★★★★ 1945 • PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS," flanked by circular commemorative motifs and the Thompson script trademark. The Certificate of Authenticity lists registry number PTO-095.
The rifle showcases a polished blued steel receiver and barrel with extensive 24-karat gold-plated accents, including the Cutts-style muzzle/front sight housing, rear sight assembly, actuator knob, trigger, sling swivels, and small fasteners. High-gloss walnut furniture is fitted with fired-enamel medallions: a "V for Victory" in the buttstock and a "Victory in the Pacific • 15 August 1945" medallion in the pistol grip.
Chambered in .45 ACP, the 1927A1 uses a closed-bolt, blowback, semi-automatic action with a top-mounted actuator and manual safety. It wears a 16.5" finned barrel capped by a Cutts-style compensator, with the finned section visible along the forearm relief. Iron sights include a post front integrated into the gold-plated housing and a gold-plated adjustable ladder/tangent rear. Length of pull is 17.25, and the rifle carries an Auto-Ordnance Worcester, MA receiver marking.
This presentation set is complete with the Thompson-branded factory hard case and a wood-and-glass display case bearing the AHF commemorative plaque. The wooden display case has a few scuffs on the exterior. Also included are the COA, owner’s manual, leather sling, white cotton gloves, and a 30-round Thompson-pattern steel stick magazine.
