This Sig Sauer SP2022 from the SIG Pro series is a compact, hammer-fired DA/SA semi-auto pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. The SP2022 is built around a polymer frame with an accessory rail on the dust cover in a Picatinny/M1913-style format. Up top, the matte gray slide is marked "SIG SAUER SP2022," with additional right-side markings including "SIG SAUER INC" and "EXETER - NH."
This pistol uses a hammer-fired DA/SA action and includes multiple safety features: an automatic firing pin block, a decocking lever, a safety intercept notch, and a trigger bar disconnector. The external hammer and frame-mounted decocker make it easy to run as a traditional double-action first-shot setup.
For sighting, it is equipped with fixed sights: a front post with a white dot and a rear notch with two white dots. The barrel is marked "9mm Para," and the frame includes a "READ MANUAL BEFORE USE" warning marking.
