Developed by SIG Custom Works in partnership with ZEV Technologies, this full-size P226 ZEV SAO RXP blends the P226 platform with ZEV-inspired details. The slide is marked "P226 Z" and the dustcover carries the "ZEV" mark, underscoring the collaboration. It is finished in black with matching frame and slide.
The pistol is single-action-only with a flat trigger for a consistent break and an ambidextrous manual safety for bilateral control. It also features an extended beavertail, front-strap checkering, and ZEV hex-pattern grip panels that provide a secure, tactile hold.
A threaded, extended 4.9 in barrel supports suppressed-use setups, and the slide includes front and rear serrations plus a forward lightening window. An optic cut is paired with a mounted SIG Sauer ROMEO1 PRO red dot, and a fiber-optic front sight provides a bright aiming reference. Mounted ROMEO1 PRO red dot optic and threaded barrel are key highlights of this configuration.
The railed dustcover provides a multi-slot accessory rail for lights or lasers. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and three factory steel magazines are included. The skeletonized hammer and the P226 ZEV-specific slide profiling deliver a distinctive look while maintaining the proven P226 operating system.
