The V3 (DA/SA) configuration provides a traditional double-action first shot with a smooth transition to single action, complemented by a decocker. Ambidextrous slide release levers and the paddle-style magazine release make the controls fully bilateral straight from the factory.
The 3.85 in cold hammer-forged barrel uses six-sided polygonal rifling for durability and a mirror-bright bore. The extractor doubles as a loaded-chamber indicator with a red paint witness, and the slide carries a matte nitro-carbonized finish.
TRU DOT 3-dot night sights are installed for low-light visibility, with the branded TRU DOT rear sight in place. Up front, a MIL-STD-1913 three-slot accessory rail is molded into the dust cover for lights or lasers as needed.
Built on a fiber-reinforced polymer frame, the P30’s ergonomic system includes interchangeable side panels and a backstrap with aggressive texturing and finger grooves, allowing a tailored fit. This example is made in Germany and bears German CIP proofing, the Ulm stag-horn, the DE country code, the HKI – Columbus GA import mark, and the HK date code "CA."
