This Springfield Armory Kuna stands out as a modern 9mm pistol built around a roller-delayed blowback system and a cold hammer-forged, Melonite-finished 6-inch threaded barrel. It features fully ambidextrous controls, a monolithic aluminum upper with a full-length numbered Picatinny rail, and a factory-installed SB Tactical side-folding brace. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory, it ships with two translucent 30-round magazines with steel feed lips and flip-up hybrid metal sights.

The Kuna uses a semi-automatic, roller-delayed blowback action tuned for 9mm Luger, paired with a fixed 6-inch barrel. The barrel is cold hammer-forged steel with a Melonite finish, cut with a 1:10 RH twist, and threaded 1/2x28 TPI with a factory multi-port brake.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch. A reversible, non-reciprocating, folding charging handle enhances setup flexibility, and the right-side ejection port includes a roller-style bolt window.
The monolithic aluminum upper integrates an M-LOK handguard and a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail. Hybrid metal flip-up sights are included: a front flip-up post and a rear flip-up U-notch/aperture.
Construction centers on 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. The rear endplate is 1913 Picatinny, fitted from the factory with a SB Tactical side-folding brace, and the pistol wears an textured polymer grip.
