This Model 720 follows the classic Auto-5-style humpback profile and uses a long-recoil, friction-ring-tuned operating system. It has right-side ejection with an integral bolt handle and a bottom loading gate. Capacity is 2+1.
The receiver is factory engraved with upland dog scenes flushing birds on both sides, accented by scroll at the receiver shoulders. The steel construction and American manufacture are supported by markings that include a small oval proof and a "PROOF TESTED" barrel legend, along with a Utica, New York barrel address. The absence of U.S./Ordnance property marks indicates a commercial sporting configuration.
The 24" plain steel barrel (no rib) carries a single brass bead front sight and is stamped with four asterisks. A Weaver Choke adjustable muzzle device is installed and marked "WEAVER CHOKE EL PASO, TEX. U.S.A." and "12 GA", providing external choke adjustment without altering the barrel.
The walnut furniture includes a checkered pistol-grip stock and a matching walnut fore-end. A ventilated rubber recoil pad is installed, and the length of pull measures 13.0". Overall, this setup balances the engraved receiver with practical field features and user-focused modifications.
