The PSD is configured as a single-action-only, short-recoil, tilting-barrel design with an exposed spur hammer and a frame-mounted manual safety. A left-side magazine release and front and rear cocking serrations support straightforward handling. The slide uses an external extractor for reliable case management.
Sight regulation is aided by a fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight with protective ears and an elevation screw. This setup provides a clear sight picture and fine adjustment capability for the 7.5mm FK cartridge.
The polymer frame features an extended dust cover with an integral accessory rail that has three cross-slots, allowing direct light or accessory mounting. A lanyard ring at the rear of the frame adds carry and retention flexibility. Textured polymer grip surfaces offer consistent traction.
