The ESV (Exposed Slide Variant) configuration features three elongated lightening ports on each side of the charcoal gray slide, reducing slide mass and revealing the contrasting barrel finish. Rear slide serrations provide a defined grasping surface, and the slide is marked with "MICRO 9 ESV" alongside the Kimber script logo.
The 3.15-inch stainless steel barrel wears a distinctive rose-copper finish, visible through the slide windows. The barrel hood is stamped "9MM," confirming chambering at a glance.
The aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight low and includes practical carry upgrades such as a checkered front strap and mainspring housing plus a beveled magazine well opening.
