Commemorating the one-millionth Citori produced, this shotgun is a factory One Millionth Commemorative with a 1 in 500 production designation. It is a 2008 SHOT Show Special and includes distinctive gold-inlaid "One Millionth" banners, large "Citori" script on the receiver, a Buckmark inlay, and "The Best There Is" on the floorplate, with additional gold scroll on the top lever and trigger guard.
The receiver is finished in silver nitride over steel, setting off the factory engraving and a gold-colored single selective trigger. High-grade American walnut with fine checkering and a pistol-grip profile completes the traditional Citori lines, capped with a black plastic buttplate.
Its 28-inch high-polish blued barrels are chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells and use the Invector-Plus interchangeable choke system. A ventilated top rib with a front bead provides a clean sighting plane, and the rib is marked in gold script, "Commemorating the One Millionth Citori."
Functionally, it features a break-action over/under layout with dual ejectors, a tang safety with barrel selector, and Browning’s precise lockup. Built by Miroku in Japan, this limited run pairs collectible significance with the hallmark fit and finish the Citori line is known for.
