Product Description

    Winchester Model 9410 Traditional .410 Bore Lever-Action Shotgun, 24-inch Smoothbore, Blued, 9+1

This Winchester Model 9410 Traditional is Winchester's first Model 94-pattern .410 shotgun, produced in New Haven, Connecticut in the 2000s. It features a 24-inch smoothbore barrel, a 9+1 full-length tubular magazine, and a receiver tuned specifically for .410 shotshells. Chambered strictly for 2.5-inch loads, this example is in excellent condition with sharp walnut furniture and a deep blued finish.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.

Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.

Specific Condition Notes: The original deep blued finish shows no notable thinning or scratches across the receiver and barrel. The 24-inch smoothbore is bright and clean, suitable for 2.5-inch .410 shotshells or slugs. The lever action cycles smoothly with controlled-round extraction and ejection designed for the .410 cartridge. The American walnut stock and forearm are structurally sound with crisp, well-defined checkering. This is a well-preserved example of the discontinued 9410 Traditional.

    What’s Included

    • Original box

Built on the Model 94 pattern, the 9410 uses a lever-operated receiver with side, positive-angle ejection tailored to shotshells. It was the first .410 variant of the 94 platform, and this Traditional model reflects that heritage with classic lines and modern functional updates.

The 24-inch steel smoothbore barrel is marked Winchester Proof Steel and is chambered for 2.5-inch .410 shells only. Feeding is via a full-length tubular magazine to the muzzle, providing a 9+1 capacity with 2.5-inch ammunition. The system employs controlled-round extraction and ejection for reliable cycling with the .410 cartridge.

Sighting is straightforward and effective, with a green fiber-optic ramped front and an elevation-adjustable rear leaf, configured as iron sights. Safety features include a top-tang safety, a hammer-blocking safety, and a rebounding hammer for secure handling.

American walnut furniture with a straight grip and a schnabel-style, checkered forearm delivers a traditional look with positive purchase. The receiver and barrel wear a deep blued finish, and the receiver top is drilled and tapped with filler screws. A black checkered buttplate with the Winchester logo completes the setup.

Production markings note New Haven, Connecticut manufacture, along with Winchester Proof Steel and Winchester — Trademark licensed from Olin Corp. These details align with USRAC-era New Haven production and the model's 2000s timeframe.
