The i-Bolt action uses a three-lug, full-diameter bolt with a 60-degree lift for smooth cycling and scope clearance. The bolt features a boat-tail body and a visible cocking indicator, along with an E-Z Turn bolt release for simple disassembly and maintenance. A three-position safety offers flexible control over loading and firing conditions.
Its 23 inch Thompson/Center precision match-grade barrel is free-floated with a tapered profile and target-style crown to support consistent accuracy. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the rifle includes a Weaver-style mount; the platform also accepts Remington 700-pattern bases using 8-40 screws. There are no factory open sights.
The Tru-Set externally adjustable trigger lets the shooter fine-tune pull weight without disassembling the action. Paired with the X-Bed bedding system, the action and barrel are firmly supported in the stock to help maintain repeatable zero and reliable point of impact.
The synthetic stock is finished in black and includes molded checkering for grip, a raised comb for sight alignment, sling swivel studs, and a rubber recoil pad for comfort at the bench or in the field. Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate. Overall length is about 43 inches, and empty weight is approximately 6.75 lb.
