The 22 in cold-hammer-forged, medium-taper barrel is free-floated via Ruger’s stainless Power Bedding block and is threaded 5/8-24. This setup supports effective barrel harmonics and easy attachment of compatible muzzle devices.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 70-degree lift, dual cocking cams, a plunger ejector, and a round bolt knob. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a one-piece Picatinny rail with a lion-head logo is already installed. There are no iron sights.
The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is user-adjustable within an approximate 3–5 lb range. A two-position tang safety with a red indicator provides intuitive control.
