The XPR Hunter TrueTimber Strata pairs a chromoly steel receiver finished in Perma-Cote Flat Dark Earth with a rugged composite stock in TrueTimber Strata camouflage. The stock adds practical field features, including an Inflex recoil pad, textured grip panels, sling swivel studs, and a flattened fore-end for steady support.
The 24-inch sporter-contour barrel is button-rifled, thermally stress-relieved, and free-floated, with a recessed target-style crown to help protect the muzzle. The M.O.A. Trigger System is adjustable and built for zero-creep and zero-overtravel; this rifle is set at approximately 3.5 lb for a clean, consistent break.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift for scope clearance and fast cycling. The bolt body is nickel Teflon–coated for smooth operation. Safety features include a two-position thumb safety and a bolt unlock button, allowing the action to be opened with the safety engaged.
This rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine (3+1 capacity) with long-action magazines marked "LA/STD." It is manufactured in Portugal by Browning Viana and imported by BACO, Inc., Morgan, Utah. The rifle has no sights installed and comes with a one-piece Picatinny scope base already mounted.
